Each frankincense species we offer is is gentle enough to use with children. For children between ages 2-4, we recommend adding 2-3 drops to a diffuser in a well ventilated room. For children age 5 and older, frankincense can be diluted to 2% and applied topically. This equals to 2 drops per teaspoon of carrier oil.

Monoterpene rich oils oxidize quickly when exposed to oxygen, which may cause irritation and sensitization. Please store all essential oils out of direct sunlight and do not apply old or oxidized oils to the skin. They're great for diffusing, though!
